Wood-fired paella burner
PA70C - 1 arm
Stainless steel cabinet with castors
Do you know the rice that chefs love? Discover it here:
The PA70C is the one-arm wood-fired paella burner designed with Edu Torres (Molino Roca): a large pan, a handwheel and the authentic flavour of cooking over wood, made simple.
Designed for home cooks (terrace, garden, get-togethers) and for the bar or small restaurant that wants to offer wood-fired rice. Compact, on castors, in stainless steel with a firebrick lining: the alternative to a brick-built paella fire, with no building or masonry work.
How many people does it serve?
For a 70 cm paella pan, the largest size. Takes pans from 10 to 70 cm. Approximate figures.
- Restaurant style 10-15 people Thin layer of rice A thin layer of rice (1 to 1.5 cm). The grains stay separate, with socarrat. It is the layer chefs recommend.
- 18-20 people Up to the rivets The rice reaches the rivets that hold the handles. A medium layer: keep a closer eye on the fire.
- Up to 30 people Full pan Rice almost up to the rim. It is the maximum, for events. The rice is creamier and socarrat is harder to achieve.
In restaurants, a thin layer is the norm: around 10 to 15 servings.
Much more than paella
- Paella pans from 10 to 70 cmA small pan for a few guests, a 70 cm pan for around 10-15 servings (up to 30 when full).
- Meat, fish and vegetablesThe round grill also lets you cook steak, chops, fish or vegetables over a wood fire.
- HandwheelYou set the height of the pan or the grill without touching the fire, at every stage of cooking.

The alternative to a gas paella burner on a tripod
For paella, most people use a gas paella burner on a tripod. The TopBrasa burner runs on wood and controls the heat with a handwheel.
Gas paella burner on a tripod
- The pan always stays at the same height
- Heat is set at the gas tap, without the smoky note of wood
- It has to be set up and taken down every time
Wood-fired paella burner
- Handwheel: raise or lower the pan without touching the fire
- Wood fire: cooking over wood adds a smoky note
- Firebrick lining: it holds the heat
- Always ready, in stainless steel, tabletop or on a cabinet with castors
A paella pan of up to 70 cm: around 10 to 15 servings in a thin layer, 18 to 20 up to the rivets, up to 30 when the pan is full.
The alternative to a brick-built paella fire
A brick-built fire for cooking paella is built once, in one place. The TopBrasa burner runs on wood with no building or masonry work.
Brick-built paella fire
- It needs building work
- You control the fire by moving the wood
- It stays where it was built
- The height of the pan is fixed
Wood-fired paella burner
- No building work: nothing to build
- Handwheel: set the height of the pan without touching the wood
- Castors: on the terrace, in the garden or at an event
- Stainless steel with a firebrick lining
You cook over wood, like traditional paella: kindling to light the fire and logs to keep the embers going.

The secret of the great rice masters, now at home
It is not just a paella burner: it is the result of years of dedication to the perfect grain. When TopBrasa joined forces with Edu Torres (Molino Roca), the goal was clear: to master the fire so the rice takes centre stage.
At home: the star of every get-together
If “just another rice dish” is not enough for you, this is your centrepiece. Forget ordinary gas burners and go back to basics.
- Authentic flavour: the smoky note of a wood fire and an even socarrat.
- Easy to master: one handwheel raises and lowers the pan; you do not need to be a professional chef.
- Design and mobility: its castors let you move it around the terrace or the garden.
For bars and small restaurants: a show, made simple
Cooking on a wood-fired paella burner in full view of your customers creates a real focal point. The PA70C lets you add wood-fired rice to your menu, with no building or masonry work.
- Full control: set the heat precisely with the handwheel.
- Professional durability: stainless steel and firebrick, built for heavy professional use.
What makes the TopBrasa burner designed with Edu Torres unique?
- Firebrick lining: the lined interior keeps the heat steady and protects the structure.
- Professional lifting system: raise or lower the pan smoothly to fry the sofrito, cook the rice, then sear it at the end for the socarrat.
- The Molino Roca seal: backed by Molino Roca, producer of an exceptional rice.
